Email now with your “intent to register” Statement

Final Registration is February 1, 2008 until May 1, 2008. We cannot accept any registrations after May 1st.

The Registration Deposits are to be made by a personal check, along with a Credit Card (a credit card authorization form will be sent via email with your “intent to register email reply.” An insurance payment* will be required after your registration paperwork is received. All final payments will be made with a credit card. *(The 2008 Conference Committee has elected to protect your deposit and conference package cost by insuring you and your traveling companions. The group insurance policy protects your conference costs if you are unable to attend the conference due to sickness or injury.)

The current deposit is $500.00 per person for one or two people in a room. If you are booking 3 or 4 persons in a room, the required deposit of $1000.00 to guarantee the larger family room size. (We’ve reserved only double rooms—you will need to request a quote prior to registering to reserve a triple or quad room because of their limited availability).

The School friendly registration form is available on the downloads page of this site. Print out the PDF and complete the form by writing directly on the school form. Submit the form to your school for early-bird registration. The 2008 conference committee will contact you directly upon receipt of your school form. We are working with a professional travel agency, ADG and Associates Inc., for our travel arrangements. Owner, Kay Grossmann, can assist members in finding the best flight rates for transportation as far as 11 months in advance; hotel accommodations for early arrival into the departure port city if needed; tours or excursions before or after the cruise; fly or drive to the port city as transfers and extended parking can be arranged.

Direct your questions to info@IGAEAconference2008.org and we’ll respond right back to you. Your Deposit Checks will be made payable to IGAEA Conference 2008, and mailed to IGAEA Conference 2008, c/o Dan McCluskey, 9 Cebold Drive, Montgomery, IL 60538.

Refunds and Cancellations:
Your registration deposit is partially refundable until May 1, 2008. NO NAME CHANGES on participant or guest registrations can be made without a change fee assessed. If you request a refund after the 1/31/08 cut-off, a $25 fee will be charged per person and the remaining amount refunded to you. A letter or email requesting the refund should state the registrant's name and the reason for the refund. Refund amounts will be prorated if requested between 2/1/08 – 4/30/08. No refunds will be issued after the May 1, 2008 final payment date unless you meet the requirements for the Group Insurance Policy. (After making your deposit, you will receive the complete insurance information packet.) If you or a family member is ill and unable to travel at any time prior to the Conference starting date...you need to contact ADG and Associates Inc. immediately via phone at (630) 961-0169. Doctor verification is required and written documentation must be approved to receive a medical refund through the insurance.
Once your insurance premium is paid, that amount is not refundable.

General Information:
The conference pricing will include the cruise, port charges, and government taxes; all meals; onboard activities; the educational IGAEA programs for participants, along with the IGAEA social and special events for both participants and guests. The only cost to the attending members and their families will be transportation to the departure port; a US Passport if you don’t already own one (the US Government will require all citizens leaving the US to have a Passport, even when traveling to Canada and Mexico); airport transfers to the pier; on-board cruise service tipping; and extra excursion tours you select and book for additional charges.
